Vitalis lean back defense, might not be as effective against Briggs, than it has been against his most recent opponent so I think Briggs has a change to land something big in early rounds.
I applaud Vitali's comeback and feel that he's beaten some respectable opponents in Sam peter, Carlos Gomez and Chris arreola. At this point however, taking on guys like Kevin Johnson, Albert Sosnowski and Shannon Briggs is just record padding. Regardless of his size and punching ability, Briggs is a mismatch and has no business being within shouting distance of a title shot.
Vitali is getting a bit too comfortable fighting little guys with no reach. Briggs has 80" reach and about twice the power of anyone Vitali has fought recently. Briggs will get an early kd and finsih it within 3 rounds.
Seems like a lot of people give Briggs the chance to Knockout Vitali. I would love to know how the polls were when Vitali fought Peter and Arreola... :think

WTF is the WFO!? World Fighting Organisation, I know but really WTF!?! He looks impressive, I give you that. But we know he only has a very little "first couple of rounds chance" and then it's "steelhammer time" (no wait, that's his brother). I think that "music" is his best chance to beat Vitali if he uses it for his entrance. :think

Vitali can throw 70, 80 punches a round and Briggs around 15 maybe It wont be a slugfest Briggs will do everything possible to turn it into a snoozefest I give Briggs a decent shot to stop Vitali though. If Vitalis chin still holds up then maybe livershot or cuts could stop him. Vitali isnt that fresh and gusty anymore, Arreola had him running scared. Briggs is still quite fast and explosive. Vitali looked good as a counterpuncher in the comeback fights with Arreola and Peter but when he has to turn the pressure on he aint that good. He got his face busted by powder punching Johnson with few jabs..
