No a simpleton types thinks instead of things ,and Lewis ran for the re-match. Yes Vitali had 3 cuts on his face that needed 68 stitches all caused by an illegal back hand.lol

All conquering Ivan Drago couldn't even achieve a KO2 or KO5 against one of the worst performing versions of Lennox Lewis where the other 'lesser fighters' could.

    This supports you how exactly?

lets be honest, if lewis hadnt retired, and had entered into a rematch, do you honestly think a Klitschko family member would turn up for the rematch? we all the record of the K bros when they get beaten up and lose, they run for the hills in gibbering fear.

its fair to say that Vitali ONLY MADE a fuss BECOS Lewis was retiring, so Vits was safe to jump up and down and put on an act without getting destoryed again.

I think Vitaly would turn up for the rematch. Why no? Lewis passed his prime, Vitaly was in his prime. But for me Lewis had a good chance to beat Vitaly again, because Vitaly wasn't puncher and even "old" Lewis was better than Vitali as a boxer.

Yes and he avoided re-matching McCall and Rahman!.Bottom line, prime for prime Lewis smokes him and his chinny brother!

When? Wrong, Don King would never risk Byrd with a belt vs Vitali.

Instead King ran a round robin circus matching Golota, Byrd, Rahman and Ruiz vs each other in forgetful fights.

Byrd wasn't with Don King in the year 2000 when he beat Vitali. King had Byrd when Vitali was in retirement.

He had a rematch option he chose not take against Byrd in 2000. Not rematching Byrd is a hell of a lot worse than Lewis not rematching him.

Vitali was out of action with a torn shoulder after the Byrd fight. If you look at the dates, Vitali wasn't ready, so Byrd took the fight with Wlad before Vitali came back. Being hurt and recovering for a few months is not a duck in anyone book.

Well that's your opinion, the mythical prime Lewis who only ever lost to "lucky" punches.

Fact is he was lucky to receive the decision over Mercer and refused to rematch even with Mercer begging him.

Vitali was back in the ring that same year against Hoffmam. The Hoffman fight only took place a month after Byrd fought Wlad.

If Vitali wanted to avenge his loss to Byrd he would have either allowed him to take an interim fight or fought him instead of Hoffman.
He passed Byrd onto his brother.

You are missing the point, he wasn't fully recovered from the shoulder tear, so Wlad took the fight instead, and Vitali came back at a later date. You can't negotiate injured until you are healed. The Hoffman fight was made quickly, once Vitali was ready to go.

No , you missed the point. Why didn't Vitali allow Byrd take an intrim fight so he could avenge the loss when he felt he was fully healed?
Byrd was forced to fight Wlad. Vitali had zero interest in ever rematching Byrd.
