Chisora might be a grade A numpty - but he has us talking about heavyweight boxing again, love him or hate him!!!! :deal
You're right... Vitali should fight someone nobody cares about. He can then batter him for 10 rds before stopping him. The battered and bloody opponent can then burst into tears after the fight or spend the night in hospital. Why should Vitali fight Chisora again? He only gave Vitali his toughest fight for years. Why should Vitali fight someone who would get HBO interested in showing the fight? Why should Vitali fight fight someone who would get the casual fans interested? There is simply no point to it all.
i missed the immediate claims of vitali being injured during the fight, but he seemed to be using both arms in that fight, and was in no obvious discomfort when he punched with either hand. its not like vitali fought the entire fight only using one hand.
His punch output dropped dramaticly and he almost entire abandoned the jab after the 4th. Its clear as day to see for anyone with half a brain and semi working vision.
He didn't give Vitali much of a problem. The result would be the same the second time around, though. Chisora has a good chin and Vitali isn't a homerun hitter.
I doubt Chisora is sellable in germany again after the shyte he pulled, people here do not want to see him again (my take at least), though maybe if the fight was staged in England we'd see a rematch.
it wasnt mentioned by the commentators or in the corner (the times they showed the corner anyway). and he was still using the jab from what i remember. i'll watch the repeat next time its on though :good
Chisora could easily lose weight and be that much sharper and fitter, the early rounds with his head movement vitali was getting nowhere with his right hand. As the fight went on chisoras head movement slowed. He should have jabbed more and used more body work and combinations instead of looking for the big shot.
People forget that Dereck Chisora was a novice. His 2 defeats and the robbery have come against very good fighters. Obviously he is a lot more experienced now, after the Vitali fight.
