One of the best analyses I've ever seen on this site, props to Vidic. The fight tonight told us nothing new.
Definitely think he would have a better chance again Vitali.. one thing is for sure Vitali would take more risks than wlad did
Vidic knows plenty of **** about boxing. Prime for Prime Vitali would UD Haye but at his current stage Haye would be a nightmare for him.
Didn't all you people claim Wladimir would have trouble/get knocked out by Haye too? How did that go again? Vitali isn't reckless like Chisora and he'll deny Haye the space to operate just like his brother did.
I predicated a boring Wlad UD homie. Not happy that a lot of my initial videos have been BORKED, time for an update. (first post quoted with new vids) ----------------------------
Not sure how Haye can win when he doesn't throw punches. To act like the guy is going to all of the sudden be active against Vitali is laughable. Yes Vitali is older but his lean back style is still very awkward and he is in place to counter if Haye does try and engage. This fight is as clear as day Vitali Klitschko by 120-108 or 119-109 in a very boring fight. Not sure why the Hayelords are back in full force in here he has shown NOTHING that makes me think he will engage with someone bigger than him. You can't outbox Vitali Klitschko and you are not going to KO him. He has an Iron Chin. Haye is out of his element in a fight like this. Even against the oldest, most unmotivated and fattest version of Vitali Klitschko which is what he would be facing.
It would make sense if vitali loses to an englishman at the end of his career just as he did at the start to lewis. I just smell an upset for some reason.
38 Y.O. Vitali > 32 Y.O. Haye 42 Y.O. Vitali < 32 Y.O. Haye Simple as it is... And this is why Haye backed off two different times from a ready to be signed contract from the Vitali team. And no, you are not the only one thinking Wladimir is better than Vitali.
I have always said that Haye has a better chance against Vitali than Wlad based on styles. Not great, but better. Vitali doesn't have near the hand or foot speed of his brother. He is not nearly as disciplined with his defense and often drops them entirely during fights. Largely because he can take a hell of a shot, but there are only so many of those anyone can take. I think Haye would see the shots comming even easier and would be able to land more of his own based on speed. The only question for me is whether he can hurt Vitali or not. Because Vitali is going to bring more pressure for sure. If I combine this with Vitali's noticable slipping, I give Haye a solid 30-35% chance to win today.
