Peter fought no one with at least solid HW power post Wlad until McCline. Obviously obese, ancient, shot, midget McToney isn't the guy to test a chin at HW.

If Vitali is at only 50% he will still knock Peter out. Most here do not know how good Vitali really is, he is awesome. Peter can out eat anyone, but Vitali will knock Peter out.

The extemely prejudice want Peter to win, they judge Vitali by the color of his skin like so many judge Obama Vs. McCain/Bush. It's a shame that so many judge Vitali by the color of his skin like Bush/Neocons/Nazis judge Obama.

 

James Toney is a boxer with great skills and Samuel Peter did a good fight against him.
He prepared for Maskaev and than Maskaev pulls out. Why all the hate to these boxers and Champions you go into the ring? Not postponed fights again and again because of injuries.

Peter hits the canvas but than he came back and win against McCline and he won the title against Maskaev, a good solid boxer who could not outbox or knockout Peter. Samuel shows some good boxing skills in this fight and was very relaxed and took Maskaev´s punches very well.
And i think McCline can hit very hard at the beginning of fight. McCline knocked Chris Byrd in round 2 to the canvas and at this time Chris Byrd had a great chin.

Samuel did a great fight in 2005 against Wlad and i hope he will train hard and comes into good fight condition to fight against Vitali.

 

Peter is a disgrace to boxing.

 

Why?

His fight against Wladimir was one of the most exciting and entertaining fights in the heavyweight division for the last years. My heart stood still sometimes, Wladimir one a very hard fight against Peter. Peter punched to the back of the head, right, but Wlad holds so it was a very hard fight for both. Wlad won. I want to see the rematch between this two boxers.

Peter make a good fight against James Toney, better skills he had ever shown before. And won the WBC title.

Why should the WBC Champion be a disgrace to boxing?


I have respect to all fighters who stepped into the ring like Wladimir Klitschko. Because of this i am a fan from Wladimir. He never shows desrespect to his opponents. The boxing world is not only Klitschko.

I think Wlad's punishing shots may have caused a depletion in Peter's abitlity to take the big shots.

But you never know. I think the Vitali fight will tell us just how much Peter can take/how much the ref will allow him to take.


I think Peter will take a tremendous beating. He will be staggaring around like a town drunk, and the ref will allow it to continue ( cause Peter is partially controlled by King, and its a title fight) til Vitali knocks him OUT, in a very dramatic ending. This fight will mark Peter's exit from the upper tiers of the division, and his clout plummet, it'll be such a onesided beating......

Nah far from it, there is no probelm honestly However alot of you who are simply writting off Peter are making a big mistake, I hope to god Vitali is thinking the same way you all are, I mean we are talking about a BIG man here who quit against feather fisted Byrd while he was well ahead on the cards, tell me about the shoulder fine, But many fighters have fought injured, what happens when the going gets tuff for Vitali?
Honestly its a money fight for VItali I dont see him winning it, I dont see him putting in alot of effert if it goes into the mid rounds, its a set up fight to make Wlad look good in the rematch, only difference there is I dont see Wlad beating Peter in a rematch.
