No I was in the Poconos with Cintron and team peter was there also...I think for the Toney fight...cant remember.....we stopped by...it was ****ing out of control...then Peter started yelling and walkout of the ring telling all the team to "**** off"... then he left the gym and drove off. The sparing partners said it was like that alot
Blame should go across the board, it's not just his team thats not doing there job, Peter is known to be lazy in training and from what I read they have a hard time keeping him away from candy bars and icecream trucks. Peter should understand the importance of this fight, and if he doesnt, he may just find himself laying face down on the canvas come fight night.
I really thought the McCline fight would really "wake him up" since he was almost KO'd... but I heard he was back to his old tricks while training for Maskaev. We will see how serious he took his training on Saturday
Who at least thought, that they were in charge at the time...??? Please don't say all of them, I'd like an idea of whose fault it was...of course if that happened Peter gets the blame too. Try to remember if it was Toney I or II, because I'm aware of most of the personell changes that Sam has had in his camp I believe. I'd just like to place if that was right before McKinley's arrival, or if it was chaos created by it. McKinley joined the team prior to the rematch.
I pray he doesnt tip the scales at over 260, if he does, then I will be quite anger at Peter win or lose. The McCline fight should of been a wake-up call, but Peter must be stuck in his ways, and his training team is not good enough to help him. I would love to see Atlas or Roach try and work with Peter, they might be able to help him better.
I cant remember Suge....I think it was fight I. I dont remember McKinley being there. I know Duva was screaming.... someone working mits was screaming... Peters manager was screaming at sparing partners... Peter was screaming at all of them..... Duva started with the "Im in charge" ****...it was a mess
Have you notice almost all the photos, peter is in a huge loose fitting shirt of suit...its so hard to see his belly. I take it as a bad sign. I think he will come in big again
Yeah, I seen the same kind of pictures. Sam's naturally a very thick set guy, but at 6'0 and a half, 260+ is not a good fighting weight for him, 245-250 should be his ideal fighting weight, he wouldnt lose any power and would gain speed and stamina.
gotzev, mckinley, anderson, and duva are all distractions. he needs somebody to whip his ass into shape.
I have have no rooting interest in this fight, and from a neutral standpoint i can't see any way the Sam Peter who fought Maskaev has any chance against Vitali Klitscho.Maskaev tagged Peter often and hurt him on a few occasions.Peter won but his performance that night was terrible. I really think Klit will punish him for 4-5 rounds before delivering the KO
Just a thought but maybe that's what Peter wants the Klit camp to think, and he's keeping them guessing with the baggy shirts? Past evidence suggests he's not doing that and he's probably still a fat ****, obviously.
