Try it...get in the pool and punch under water for 3 minutes....then tell me how your feel plus swimming is one the best overall body workouts you can do.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you know anything about cardio training? Dumb reply on your part. Not trying to insult you but damn man.
With that avatar and your saying someone looks gay? I hope you lost a bet or something. If so, perhaps you should quit gambling.
No insult taken but I have an idea about that - obviously I know about cardio, anybody knows about running with water by your waist and the good it does for you ( endurance, stamina and more). I don't think it's a dumb reply since Wladimir is not to increase what is already his very hard punch by shadow boxing under water. He's posing for snaps and having some fun too and that is good news in his camp - means he's pretty relaxed.
Yes, I do remember Ray but I didn't know that, thnx. So what good does it do? You shadow box under water against liquid resistance to increase your punching power and even hand speed? But then you have to hold your breath and you can't shadow box for long periods and that is supposed to do a whole lot of good? Can't get it, sorry... Maybe I'm just dumb.
It's just a publicity stunt. Nothing more. You can be sure that Emmanuel Steward is instructing him on how to fight Sultan as we speak. I saw a little sparring video the other day. As usual, they had a big screen behind the ring with a fight of his upcoming opponent on it.
Or he happened to go underwater in the deep part for pictures while he was probably standing in a more shallow area dunking everything but his head under water allowing him to breathe yet still have the water resistance.
That is most probably the case but not what the pics suggest. If that is so, then it's a good workout cause breathing, expiring air from your lungs with that whooosh sound has a lot to do with good punching dynamics and mechanics and training. Wladimir gat to come lighter on his feet this time cause this guy has an excellent mobility but he also gat to very busy with the steady jab cause this guy suddenly inverts motion and whacks away with overhand lefts... If the underwater modern techniques will help him somehow, that's good. I would rather spend time non-stop punching/shadow boxing in air and as fast as I could against a virtual 4 inches shorter target moving from side to side.
Running or shadow boxing in water is a great cardiovascular exercise, it's low impact and improves speed and power.
