you guys just dont get how sparring partners are used.:patsch

Its IMPOSSIBLE to find an EXACT copy of the fighter you will be fighting. You bring in many many guys to mimic the fighter. Some just for the jab, some for hight or weight, some for speed etc.. all the guys put together makes for perfect sparring.

you never ever rely on just 1 sparring partner. Wach, if he comes, is just 1 piece of the sparring puzzle

CHEF, who are you going to bring to mimic Fury's chin?

Not a lot of options out there for Wlad in terms of finding someone to mimick Fury. He needs several sparring partners for various aspects.

I'd think that Wach is kind of a "default" upper tier choice given the options out there.

 Ustinov was beaten so badly by Klitschko in sparring that Ustinov left camp, Wlad felt badly for him afterwards.

    Common opponents:

Klitschko knocked pulev out cold, the same pulev who knocked out Ustinov

That's a great question. I can't speak for Chef, but after reading his last post here is my dream team...
Wach and Ustinov for their size
Tony Thompson for the southpaw stance
David Haye to sit off to the side talking stupid sh!t to get Wlad used to that again
Cris Arreola to mimic Furys flapping lard
    And of course...
David Price to replicate Tysons CHIN and help get Wladimir used to watching a man that tall fall down.

Maybe they should just ask Fury to be a sparring partner - whittle some of that confidence down before the fight :)

What Chef said. I predict Dimitrenko will also be in the camp as he's about as fast as Fury (though not quite as tall). Ustinov isn't a bad choice either, now that he's lost some weight and seems a bit quicker. And TT to prepare for the southpaw.

Ustinov quit, he wasn't KO'd...he took a lot of those stiff jabs, the same that wobbled Wlad in round 1.

Exactly. This is common sense to anyone with a brain, it kind of goes without saying.... But well put Chef, kind of sad that this needs to be explained around here though.

I'm guessing that Jarno Rosberg and Teriskin (spelling) will be used as sparring to cover the southpaw approach?

Wlad could bring in Wallin as well... Wallin, and Rosberg would be very good Southpaw sparring partners, even Pianeta.

    I forgot about him...but I think he'd be a good choice.
