I saw a Witherspoon v Klitschko thread on the Classic, how do you see that one going Flea? Do you reckon a primed '83/'84 220lb prepared version of Witherspoon could beat him?
NOPE! "Dokes & Spoon" are early forms of Bowe..... Meaning, they basically each all had one to three fights in their career in which they were considered peaked, and then it quickly faded away for them........... V.K. is more consistant and has sustained world class longevity much better than the sorry-ass but talented ABC belt holders of the 1980s..... V.K. is in a different league altogether....... WORD! Your book means sh*t though since this is all speculation. Rankings should be about resume, achievements and perhaps longevity and dominance/consistency - all put into the context of the resume - but not on speculation. What´s nex people pasing their rankings on the entertainment factor or on the behaviour outside the ring?
Lets put this in perspective by looking at some of the best wins from other top ten ATGs: Ali = Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Norton Louis = Walcott, Conn, Farr, Schmeling, Braddock Lewis = Holyfield, Tyson, Tua, Rahman, Golota, Klitschko Marciano = Louis, Moore, Charles, Walcott Holyfield = Tyson, Bowe, Moorer, Rahman, Ruiz, Holmes, Foreman Tyson = Spinks, Berbick, Holmes, Ruddock, Bruno ... I could go on. And Vitali Klitschko's best win is ...... Samuel ****ing Peter?!!!! VK doesn't even come close.
Bull**** post. Did size matter when Louis thrashed Carnera or Baer? Or when Dempsey annhilated Willard? GTFO!
Again, aside from "Ali and Holy's" resume, I think V.K. matches up well with 80% of all ex-heavyweight title holder's going back to 1887....... Plus, in this case, size and strength IS a real factor........ Nobody else at heavyweight has ever used his huge size in the manner that the K-bros. have trained to do so....... Aside from perhaps, "Johnson & Louis," I can't see any other ex-champ from prior to 1950 giving V.K. a whole lot of trouble in the ring...... V.K. sits pretty before the second half of the 20th century........ I even think V.K. sits up rather highly during the later part of the 20th century, too... V.K. is the goods...... MR.BILL
Neither Klit sister has EVER met and defeated NOT ONE ATG fighter in their entire careers. The ONE ATG they have met beat the living **** out of him and he was no where near defeating this ATG, in spite of the ATG being old, fat, and untrained. To become an ATG a fighter is required to DEFEAT ATGs. Neither sister has, or ever will. They are good champs in a dead division. That it! No ATG, no HOF, just two Russian bums who were lucky to have made some money and fill a blank in a dead division of the sport.
I myself don't keep p4p or divisional ATG lists, but anyone who does damn well better have Wlad ahead of Vitali, wherever they are.
It'll prolly take 10 to 20 yrs before the K-bros. get their just due in boxing's eyes........ I, myself, have seen it all before........ WORD! MR.BILL
