Somehow reminds me a bit of a Hagler Leonard. Louis’s legs never came back after the war and Walcott was at his craftiest in this first bout. Amazing footage of fascinating fighters. Anyone questions Louis’s chin should see how many times he got tagged flush and took it. Walcott could crack.
Louis guard is very low. He has zero head movement and sticks his head forward. When he punches sometimes he just leaves it out there. At times he shuffles slowly forward as if he's on a tight rope. I often wonder why no one sees this.
