The problem is that you haven't seen the Chagaev of Valuev and Ruiz. The guy was head and shoulders of anyone (apart the Ks) in the division with the perfromances. He certainly was not overrated, if anything, probably underrated then.

The break and then WK beatdown broke him imo. He's a decent HW, but not a real threat to any beltholders.

Where the hell are they fighting?

It looks like the bout is in Chagaev's mom's basement.

Chagaev looked HORRIBLE. Not in shape, and he was so S L O W, no power on his punches.

He was fighting TRAVIS WALKER. The same Walker that Banks (who came up from Cruiser, and is Wlad's sparring partner), KO'd. The same Walker who was KO'd in 3 by Arreola. Walker was also KO'd in ONE ROUND by Manuel Quezada.

    Chagaev has CLEARLY lost it.

don't understand what's the fuss about. Chagaev won the fight easily, the upset was never an option.

He did look the same as in the last couple of fights - out of shape, bad stamina, more hittable and not as quick as at the peak. It will be fun watching the fight against Haye, should it come to that. I can imagine Chagaev having Haye on the deck, but t the end Haye speed and stamina will be too much for him.

Haye will be landing at will on this version of Chagaev. But Ruslan can still be explosive and might catch Haye. 70/30 for Haye to win.

Maybe go down to cruiser. He's not a big HW, and looked like he was carrying some chub this week.

Watch this fight and tell me that Chagaev is capable of 'explosive' any more.

Back in '07 perhaps. But it doesn't look like it any longer. The man's snap has gone.

The Walker fight MIGHT have been a decoy for Haye. I take it with a grain of salt.

I think Walker was the winner, yesterday. He landet the better punches and the "slip" was a knockdown. Okay, i know that Walker cant win a Desicion in Germany, but... Thats not fair... :-(

What were you watching? I had it 77-75 Chagaev. He didn't look that bad. Walker landed a nice uppercut and big right hand in round two and a few decent rights here and there, but Chagaev counterpunched effectively and I thought looked pretty sharp at times.

Round 5 was a good round. Walker took 6 and 7 as Chagaev was a bit tired. I don't know what you guys expect, this has always been Chagaev's style. It's not like he looked shot or anything.

Winning 77-75 against Walker is PATHETIC.

Walker has been KO'd by Arreola (3), Johnathon Banks (6), and
    Manuel Quezada (1).

He didn't look sharp at all.

Did you watch Boystov fight? I know he was fighting a "bum", but his punches were sharp and crisp, and he was much faster.
