Some fighters just don't know when to give it up. Mark Coleman, Matt Hughes, Chuck Liddell etc. Same in boxing with RJJ, Trinidad wants to fight again and ODLH. I mean even if ODLH has retired now, it took him to be totally embarassed and destroyed by Manny Pacquiao to force him out of the sport.
I am going for Wandy because this is such a big fight for him, he is fighting for his career now. I haven't predicted a fight wrong since Lesner Couture, i am on a streak. I can't help it Vicky Fatton got owned,
What horrible cheerleading. Franklin will pick him apart. Silva will be able to beat some guys out there, but Franklin isn't one of them.
My heart wants Wand. My head says Franklin has too many physical advantages. I don't really like Franklin's stand up; but he's always had reach, height, and size on all his opponents so he hasn't really ever needed to clean it up - Anderson kinda exposed that. Rich is training with Anderson now, but most fighters can't change their style overnight so I'm not sure how much different he'll be. The one thing Rich does well is throw straight punches, with a lot of power - this may be Wand's kryptonite as he likes to wing them a little bit. I think this fight boils down to how well Wand closes distance and whether or not it goes to the ground. If he stays at Rich's range and is not careful, he may get Quarry-ed. I think I would like Wand's chances better if it were Pride rules with stomps.
