Fedor looked good. Monson should not be sanctioned to fight anymore. He just soaks up punishment, has zero mobility, etc. He took two consecutive terrible beatings from Commier and now Fedor. He looks like a literally broken man being helped back to the dressing room after the Fedor fight. Him fighting again against anyone decent is a potential tragedy in the making.
Leg kicks does that to you, it doesnt matter if your young or old. Fedor did very well kicking with his lead leg. Leg kicks work a treat with any wrestlers, taller fighters, and any BJJ fighter. Monson has always fought the same way, he won aginst Roy Nelson and fought Cormier like that. If he gets his way though youll end up like Sergei. In this fight, Fedor's calibre and striking was simply too much for Monson. Apart from Cormier, Monson has actually been on a very good winning run. His last few fight was more like prime Monson.
Better than the unknown cans that your believed Zuffa fighters went up against. If Brock was in the same situation as Monson yesterday, Brock would have curled up and or run away, Carwin would have gassed in the first round, and Cain well Cain would have done the same thing except not be able as much punishment with his glass chin.
