Sure you can. If you come out and say I'm willing to fight anyone 168-154 then try to fight Froch and JCC Jr at 168 those fights fall through and the man at 168 says hey I'll fight you then you say oh 164 and I want to unify the 160 pound division then yeah that's ducking.:deal
Weird how GGG is constantly used to define Ward by Ward's own fans. Even when the thread has nothing to do with GGG, it goes right back to him. I guess it's easier to resent Golovkin for making the right moves than it is to say Andre basically wasted 3 years of his prime and his chance to be a bigger star by his own doing.
Shut your racist ass up your "Supporter of EE fighters" tells me everything I need to know about you. Go back to castefootball clown
Realistically to allow him to get comfortable in the ring again with someone who isn't too dangerous.
You have to admit that Golovkin is the man right now in U.S boxing. Everybody is talking about him with enthusiasm.:yep
You guys shoulda seen how worked up Pump C was the day after GGG dismantled Lemieux. I practically had to wipe the tears of rage off of my computer screen! Man, that was ****ing hilarious. It is amazing how dominant middleweight just consumes his thoughts simply because he is pale. It is hard to make out all right about anything without this prophetic a loser crying about triple G. I mean, what a ***
Why can't he get a couple of fights to adjust to the weight? It shouldn't matter as long as it results in the fight we all want to see. Kovalev won't be facing any real threats in the meantime.
Against SMWs that have never fought at LHW before? Making them make their debut at LHW against the world's #2 p4p fighter? Why not just find some actual LHWs? Just seems weird. You are right though, if it actually ends with him fighting Kovalev I guess whatever.
"The man at 168" who has no drawing power, hasn't had a legitimate fight in 2 years but still wants 50% ... Ward could negotiate an acceptable weight by giving up some of his purse share, but they didn't even start talking about it until the Lemieux PPV was announced and it became clear that Golovkin is unavailable.
After taxes in California which are very highon top of the federal taxes, paying his trainer and manager etc. The $2 million will get eaten away at fast. Then Ward also have a wife and 4 kids at home to provide for. So he really isn't packing away the Benjamins in the bank like many folks think.
