It is what it is. The man was inactive for almost 3 years, you knows he's accumulated some ring rust along the way. Also he just signed a 3 fight deal with HBO at the LHW division where's he's on a Collision Course with the divisions kingpin Kovalev.. He needs these tuneup to get his body ready and shake off whatever ring rust still present before he fights and beats Kovalev next year. It's common sense.:hi:

    Meanwhile.... Never mind!:smoke

Then he goes into the Kovalev fight blind then right? So why do you care? You want Ward to lose anyways, but guess What Ward is a special boxer and it's going to take a hell of a man to beat him. Be happy he's reaching out for Greatness and moving up to take on the divisions best...Meanwhile.... Never mind!:smoke

Well after the Pascal rematch I hope Kovalev fights a worse bum than Murdock and Brand. Because this isn't fair. You know Ward is praying to his Pastor that Kovalev looses so he has an excuse not to fight him.

Ward has been fighting elite fighters his whole career. Now he has a few average opponents people are talking ****? Racism of the highest order considering the trash Golovkin, Kovalev and Wlad fight on a regular basis which goes unnoticed. White ****ing power everybody :-(

The cost of living in the Bay Area is very high. But he lives in Hayward which isn't a spectacular city to live in. Roc Nation isn't going to cover all other expenses. If that was the case Broner would of accepted their offer and made them pay for his gold chains and Mercedes. Ward bit because of the signing bonus Roc Nation gave. He wanted that badly since he had not fought in years. Nobody in boxing gives signing bonuses anymore.:D

His whole career? He started in 2004. His first big fight was Kessler. And his last was Froch. People talk about Ward as if he's Floyd Mayweather!! Floyd started in 1996 and fought top opposition thru many weight classes. Ward's career peak was a 3 year period! Then he went inactive! What a joke, top guys his whole career. 28 fights?

The man just read through the lines and cut straight to the chase. It was about GGG all along.

That's true I forgot about them buying out his contract. I thought it had ended when Goosen died. Well I'm sure Roc Nation wants that money back. Wilder,Thurman and Broner all turned down Roc Nation offers. I wonder why?

Technically just over two years (Nov 2009 - Dec 2011), unless you're including the Dawson fight.
