Absolutely, Barcham. You're a on top of it. The co-feature needs to be able to step in for the main event in case of sickness. That's why the fight of the century, Mayweather-Pacquaio had Leo Santa Cruz versus versus Jose Cayetano and Vasyl Lomachenko versus Gamelier Rodriguez in the co-feature slots. Gamelier Rodriguez is must-see TV every time out. And Cayetano? If Cayetano is fighting, I'll be watching every time out. Count on it.
Obviously ward wants to adjust to the weight slowly and do it right. First he moved up a few pounds to a catch weight fight with Paul smith. Next he will go to 175 and will fight a super middle at the weight so he can see how he feels fighting at the full 175 limit. Then he will get a fully fledged light heavy weight for his next fight to see how he can take fighting someone that size. Then if all goes to plan he will fight kovolev. I know we would all love him to fight kovolev tomorrow, but if u ask me he is being really smart about it. 2 many times have we seen people jump up a weight without adjusting to it and end in disaster.
complete nonsense. Undercards are frequently garbage -- stacked with fighters a promote or network wants to showcase, usually in mismatches. Fighters in major PPV events like Cotto-Canelo don't suddenly "get sick" with a tummy-ache at the 11th hour and say "I'd rather not. It's off". And if that were to happen, there would obviously have to be a refund. give it up you lunatic.

Ward will have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with PPV sales of this event. Nobody would pay for watching Ward fighting a B- SMW at 175.
Now that Ward is on the card millions of people will scramble to order the PPV or make it out to Las Vegas to see Son Of God in person!!!

The bottom line is people are watching this fight for Cotto and Canelo. You could put a pit bull fight as the co feature and it wouldn't matter.
