If a cut like that takes weeks out of your sparring doesn't heal properly for the fight, then why would you risk it? Good on him.
He almost couldnt handle the pain when they cleaned that cut... How does he think it feels when he headbutts his opponents?? Kesslers face was open from 3 deep cuts,ALL caused by headbutts...That **** still makes me pissed.
