I have not been a very big fan of ward . But i will say im trully impressed how he is able to fight and keep his opponent off ballance all the time. I do think that he is the type of fighter that if you were to fight twice you could make adjustments and beat him soundly. As i feel kessler can do. I think froch can beat him aswell

Cotto is known for going low when the going gets tough and even lining up Clottey for a back of the head shot and tossing him to the ground in their fight in which Cotto needed a gift to get past him, but you don't like dirty fighters?

Pavlik throws the same two punches over and over again with ZERO versatility, he's flat footed, and immobile and you like watching that?

Lamon Brewster was a fighter with very little skill who had a lot of heart. He's one of your favorites and you think you're a real boxing fan? I'm not saying that you can't like him, but to say that he's one of your favorites and claim to be a real boxing fan is difficult to do.

Abraham just stands there for the majority of his fights, then throws wildly at times hoping for a knock out, but you're a real fan and find that exciting? Abraham also complains about non-existent low blows all of the time and laid out Dirrell and gave him a concussion with an illegal blow, but you don't like dirty fighters?

Pacquiao is most likely on PEDs, but you don't like cheats? We don't really need to go any further than that with Manny.

It's funny that your favorite fighters have all received a lot of hype(especially on this site) except Brewster and you want me to believe you're a real fan? It's obvious you like sluggers who usually have very little skill, but you're a real fan? How did I predict 3 of the 5 fighters that you would have as your favorites? Your list was extremely predictable.

I personally do not find his style of fighting entertaining or aesthetically pleasing to watch. I am surprised they are comparing him to Roy Jones JR or Sugar Ray I really don't see the similarities. With that said, it doesn't mean he's not good at what he does. he's very effective and I think he will be a difficult guy to beat. I think his strongest attribute is focus and mental strength.

For anyone who is complaining about Ward does anyone take into account that Green was just bad last night ? I mean if your a pro boxer you can't tell me your not taught how to fight off the ropes !! I mean Ward did something basic to Green and he couldn't do anything about it yet Ward is horrible to watch ??:huh

There is no question about Green didnt do ****, but then again Ward could have beaten him easily without his dirty tactics, thats why people are complaining. People came to see Andre Ward fight, and not Allan Green, the dirty inside fighting of Ward is making him a hard pill to swallow.

You do know that there are different styles in boxing right? I never compared Ward to Mayweather and I know they have different defensive styles. Floyd boxes, but so does Ward. He just does it in a different way. Not every boxer boxes like Mayweather. Ward usually fights on the outside while using defense and movement, but for this fight he stayed on the inside and outworked Green and went to the body. He fought a very smart fight where he adjusted on the fly effectively. If you can't appreciate the skills and intelligence Ward showed last night then your not a true boxing fan. What was you point again?

    Who are your favorite fighters?

Well I appreciate Hopkins, Floyd and many other fighters styles. But Ward is to much for me, because this guy has so much talent and doesnt use it, I dont know if it is because he cant fight a normal fight or what it is, but he is a dirty fighter, if he fights in europe like that he will be disqualified. Its a shame that someone with his style of fighting is gonna win the super six, because thats not what the fans want. And yes its not like he is Floyd Mayweather where there is a case to defend his style of fighting, because he is not dirty and is very talented, unlike Ward who is very talented and very dirty. So you tell me how I should appreciate a guy who headbutts, fights dirty on the inside, pushes a guy to the ropes and on and on. Cause I cant, and most people cant either, so dont come here and tell me that TRUE boxing fans enjoy it, cause thats bull****.

Well I'm a Dirrell fan and I hope he beats Ward. The butting in the Kessler fight pissed me off. I really hope either Dirrell or Abraham win the super six.

Mayweather is my favorite current fighter and I also appreciate Hopkins? You are bashing Ward for being dirty in your opinion, but at the same time you're saying that you like Hopkins? Everybody knows Hopkins is a dirty fighter and he basically admitted that on the second countdown show with Jermain Taylor. Look all of the holding Hopkins does. Don't forget about the head butts that bust people open every now and then. I don't mind dirty tactics once in a while. That's why I like some fighters like Hopkins, JL Castillo, and Casamayor.

You talk about not appreciating fighters who head butt, but Hopkins admitted to doing it and does it all of the time and you appreciate his style? Forcing guys into the ropes is not illegal or dirty. Henry Armstrong is considered by many to be the 2nd best fighter of all time and he made a career out of doing that. I don't remember Ward being dirty on the inside last night, but I do remember Hopkins being dirty on the inside a lot. Your argument doesn't make sense.

He should fight like Micky Ward or Arturo Gatti, all offense, no defense. People would come to his fights and all the internet tough guys would talk about how exciting he is to watch.

It really does, because a prime Hopkins wasnt near as boring as this guy. I dont like old hopkins who only relied on his dirty tactics and on hitting and holding. Of course Hopkins has been dirty in many fights, but he boxed too and used his skill a lot unlike Ward who fights like an old Hopkins who is afraid to get knocked out. Ward wasnt only dirty last night, he was it in the Kessler fight too, and there was sights of it in the Miranda fight. Do you think a prime Hopkins (He started his career late, but lets say Hopkins was a 26 year old Ward) would he have let Green stay on his feet all night? No He would have knocked him out.
