Best post i've seen in a long time. Kessler got owned, point blank period. Ward was too quick, too versatile, IMO it was a clinic. The headbutts are bound to happen when you jump in low and try to come up to clinch or throw. His hop stepping in low was intentional, the headbutts were not. Good game plan plus good execution left Kessler looking foolish.

 

im fooling myself??? buddy, anybody who thinks that a fighter thats made into a human punching bag and can still win a fight is well beyond a delusional nutbrain. you think because kessler landed a whopping two punches in the fourth he couldve turned it around? wards superior, speed, athleticism and of course boxing skills won him the fight. the fight wouldn't have looked any different since kessler was getting starched from the opening bell of the first round. stop speculating on a very unlikely possibilty and just accept kessler lost.coulda shoulda woulda, but not in this case.

ive rewatched the fight, and the results are the same. kessler's one-two not landing, ward blasting him with every punch in the book. im kind of tired of rewatching it now, i can only watch a one-sided beating for so long until it gets old.
