Would be the most pointless rematch ever,Ward schooled Froch with a busted hand,Froch won around 2 rounds,Froch would lose again and probably get beat up even more.. Only fight anyone wants to see is the Groves return,Simple as that
Bub good point....does anyone want to see Froch v Ward?....cos I bloody don't.I genuinely feel that Carl has only got one more fight in him(love him and don't want him to be damaged)only fight Groves.
No point to it as we all know who wins, Froch doesn't want it either, nor does he want Groves guarentee it will either be Kessler 3 or JCC Froch knows he can't compete with the likes of Ward, GGG or Groves anymore
Sad bit is this isn't about hardcore boxing fans. Can Eddie and Sky convince the public the real fight Carl need's is the rematch vs Ward to "cement his legacy" or some other completely ****ing boring cliche?
Cant see the public falling for it. Everyone saw what happened on Sat night. No one wants to see Froch vs Ward again. I don't usually get in the business of predicting fights but who honestly believes that Froch won't get embarrassed again, this time even more so. The fight wasn't competitive AT ALL and there is NOTHING Froch can do to improve his chances. What is he totally going to change his style of fighting in a few months? Please. In fact there could even be more demand for a Groves vs Ward match than seeing Froch outclassed...again. The thing is, Ward has been strangely quiet about the farce last Sat, I haven't heard anything from him concerning the fight. If he comes out and says Froch should rematch Groves before meeting him again...Froch's plans go out the window, as well they should.
No point in any boxing rematch if it was one-sided. There are much better match-ups for Froch to take. A rematch with Groves, a match with GGG and a move up to light-heavy would bring exciting match-ups. Its just sad we have this stupid Groves early stoppage issue to contend with as this fight really doesn't deserve a rematch. Instead of seeing a clear winner, we are now debating what ifs.
