I got Ward by a wide decision. The only way he loses is if Golovkin scores a few knockdowns or a KO. Ward is way more skilled, taller and longer. The only thing he gives up in this match is power and even then that shouldn't be a huge factor because Golovkin is 160 lbs fighter, Ward is 168.
In a way GGG doesnt have a whole lot of options if hes going to fight before the end of the year at 160. Lets look at the boxrec top 10. 1.GGG 2.Cotto(Fighting Canelo in the Autumn sometime) 3.Quillin(Fight on PBC and is fighting September 6th) 4.Lee(Is fighting Saunders on Sept 19th) 5.Taylor(Suffering from a bad case of being completely insane) 6.Lemieux(Possible, but OHLH doesnt sound too keen straight away) 7.Jacobs(Fighting Mora in a couple of weeks) 8.Heiland(Possible, not a particularly big fight, but possible) 9.Eubank(Possible) 10. Geale(Already beat him fairly recently) As for other fights Canelo is tied up with Cotto, Froch has retired, and Chavez has looked bad recently.
Ward says that and yet will in the same breath say 50/50, at 168, my ref, my hometown. He's b-side and I highly doubt he'll bend over like one. Golovkin. Will. Not. Fight. At. 168. Not now. So, Ward can just stop talking if he won't concede that to the a side.
Absolute correct prediction, but K2 will duck Ward I promise you. All that tough talk about fighting up a weight class is bull**** from team GGG.
