Wardley vs Adeleye - Purse bids off

Clarke has fought better opposition than Adeleye. We all saw what Sokolowski did to him and since then they have been very safe with matchmaking. Sure Clarke and Dacres aren’t the biggest punchers, but technically they are very good and won’t stand in front of Adeleye. I give Adeleye more of a chance of beating Wardley than Clarke or Dacres for that reason. I still think Wardley stops him though.

 

One thing to clarify is that Queensberry have no options with Wardley if he wins, unlike with Zhang. So if Wardley wins he’s still a free agent and will more than likely fight Fraser Clarke on Sky Sports in London.

I was surprised that Warren managed to get a deal over the line. I suspect that this was only possible due to the Saudi money.

The reason Wardley vs Adeleye isn’t in the UK is that for the purses agreed they wouldn’t be able to generate the money to make the fight happen on TNT.

Either way we get to see a very good fight although unfortunately it’ll encourage me to watch Fury vs Ngannou. I’m predicting Wardley to stop Adeleye from 6-9.
