I was a Ward supporter who picked him by decision for the first fight. Yep- he won by decision, and I got on this forum and said there was absolutely no joy to be found in making the right pick when that fighter you picked was so obviously beaten. I felt the same way about Wards low blows in Fight 2. While he could possibly have beaten Kovalev fairly, we will never know that.
