Close fight - one really can“t say that it was a robbery.

Of all the fights to debate why pick one that is so awful?

If dirrel is as good as I think he is then he'll come good. Hopefully he'll get his head back in the game and wipe the floor with an established name to earn his shot at the champ. As it stands mikel is most deserving of the shot, then bute and then dirrel so he needs to climb the pecking order.

I think he's clearly the most skilled in the division, I just hope he gets his head back in the game.

How about landing punshes on the inside?

Dirrell might be talented as hell, but he and his camp is clueless. All the clinching was probably a part of some gameplan, in reality it made it easier for Froch. Unless they get their heads together I have a hard time seeing Dirrell coming back as a force to reckon with.

The second time I watched the fight, I realised Dirrell was taking a knee every time Froch was about to land a haymaker and it was too late to dodge it. Dirrell ran away for 90% of the fight. He deserved to lose.

**** yeah this decision should have gotten more outrage..Im suprised at how many felt it was close or that this wasnt a robbery.. One of the worst decisions ive ever seen... I had Dirrell winning handily 117-111... As bad as Guzman-Funeka or Holyfiiedl-Lewis I .

I love the way the haters spend more time posting on Froch threads, than the Froch fans do.Like fly's round ****.
As for illegal punches, last time i laced a pair of gloves i was told to defend myself at all times, unless told to break and stop boxing,and/or separated by the ref.Clinching is not allowed in a boxing ring,it is usually a tactic used by fighters who are hurt, fighters trying to take a breather, and cowardly arseholes, who have talent by the bucketload, but no heart or substance. Therefore punching your opponent whilst he commits a foul (clinching) is legal.

I just don't see it, especially those ridiculous numbers. You really thought Dirrell won 10 rounds? How do you give a guy rounds when hes running like Dirrell was? How do you give a guy spending as much of the fight holding as dirrell did 10 rounds?

Froch landed plenty of punches BTW. Froch was landing scoring blows all night. Couple that with the fact that he was ALWAYS the aggressor, was cutting off the ring effectively and you have a clear winner in Froch IMO. Dirrell landing 2 or 3 good shots per round and then running around making faces, yelling at the ref and holding doesn't cut it for me.
