I;m being serious here Rummy it wasn't far short I'm not a hater of any fighter I just like to see a fair fight with the best man winning. That did not happen in Ward /Kov or GGG/Canelo

How wasn't GGG vs Canelo a fair fight? Because the guy who you thought and wanted to win got the draw? That's stupid...

It's strange how messed up kov got before the ward 2 fight.

-his promoter got him one of the worst rematch deal imaginable
-his corner were basically rooting for the other guy and giving inside info
-ward was obviously juicing (such an improved physique at his age with backne is near impossible)
-he was acting like an alcohol abuser

"Absurd" is how Kovalev fans keep crying about this fight. Like Rumsfeld said, a lot of butthurt fans acting like it was Bowe-Golota, Trinidad-Vargas, or Mares-Agbeko. It wasn't. At most there were two borderline low blows.

I've just rewatched the last punch several times, I'll give you that it was a tad bit low, I would say slightly below the belt line, but in part its due to how Kovalev was bending over forward. It's as bad a punch as someone landing a punch half a second after the bell rings, or a punch that lands as a fighter is taking a knee. Some things just happen due to circumstance, and its no different with the last punch. Ward was making it difficult for Ward to see exactly where his punch was going to land because Kovalev was using his upper body to obstruct Ward's view. At any rate, Kovalev was already done and clearly wanted out by the time the fight was stopped.

Boxing is corrupt, that's a given, but I saw no corruption in this fight. Judging is subjective, and I saw one judge prefer to score rounds for the fighter who landed the more telling punches over the fighter who hid/stood behind the jab.

Typical red herring argument on this board.

    Q. Was Ward's pimply back and large head a sign of peds?

    A. Lomachenko is just a dancer with no power therefore Ward is clean.

I suggest you get your eyes tested. boxing 101... any punch that lands below the navel shall be deemed low & is therefore a FOUL BLOW !! Tony Weekes DID NOT make Ward abide by the rules Blatantly biased officiating
