My thing was he really wasn't hitting Roman clean. Romans punches you clearly saw land and while Sor was busy...he wasn't landing clean enough to say he won.

Julie Ledermans score are usually closer to mine than other judges. Think she usually judges right, and think Chocolito lost a very close fight.

    Based on what I saw.

Boxing fans have to stop crying robbery everytime a close fight takes place.

    I agree regarding CompuBox.

Not sure I agree that the other guy landed the more powerful telling blows. You speak as if Gonzalez was landing pity pat. He wasn't, he was landing showy, crispy thudding shots. Wangek was just able to take them. Not sure I agree that Wangek was landing the more hurtful shots either. Outside of that knockdown in the first round, where Gonzalez was simply caught off balance, I didn't see him hurt. I definitely saw a few instances where Wangek seemed hurt though.

I consider it a robbery because from what I saw, Gonzalez clearly outlanded Wangek, in most rounds. His scoring punches were easier to see. Wangek was a bit crude. He punched like he was a converted southpaw, and not all the way comfortable with it yet. Not to mention much of Wangek's shots weren't scoring blows, either missing or hitting glove, arm etc. I'm not a big Gonzalez fan. He is good, but I've always been skeptical of his opposition. When old Viloria is touted as one of his better opponents. I also thought he was getting all he could get from Estrada, and Cuadras. I wouldn't be alone if I stated that Estrada, and Cuadras were more deserving of getting the decision over Gonzalez, than Wangek. Gonzalez was never the pound for pound #1. That was some bull**** that HBO stated putting out there. Nobody watched Gonzalez struggle with Arroyo, and thought he would be able to beat a Kovalev, Rigondeaux, or Ward if they were the same size.

Thai fighter won clearly in my opinion. Gonzalez was simply flailing all night, he didn't have anything to deter his opponent. I don't suggest he rematch him either cause the Thai will win even easier in a rematch.

Population of Nicaragua =6 million, 1/2= male population, million(s) meaning more than 1 million, therefore IB thinks at least 2/3rds of Nicaragua does gay porn.

It wasn't that close. I had it 8-4 for Gonzalez. He was outlanding Rungvisai 2-1 for most of the fight. If Whitaker-Chavez is considered one of the greatest robberies of the last 30 years where Whitaker only got a draw after outlanding Chavez by 91 punches and Gonzalez lost after outlanding Rungvisai 157 punches, what the hell is that? If you check compubox history there are only 2 fights where the fighter outlanded his opponent more than Gonzalez and didn't win. One was Lewis vs Holyfield.

I don't think you can say Sor's punches did more damage especially from the 6th round on Chocolatito was landing flush shots that were really driving Sor back.

People act as if Gonzalez himself hasn't been given a questionable nod. Call this karma, lol. Let's also get a good laugh at everyone saying. He would hit 49-0 like other greats where incorrect haha

The only people who think he didn't beat Cuadras are the idiots who think he didn't beat Rungvisai. That fight wasn't close either if you know how to score. Gonzalez outlands Cuadras in 9 rounds, and six of those were by wide margins of 8-15 punches. You'd have to be a blind man to miss that much ownage.

The Rungvisai fight was the same thing but moreso. Gonzalez outlands in 9 rounds, 2 of those were fairly close but 7 were not close. Round 3 he scores 9 more punches. Round 4 he scores 27 more punches. Round 6 he scores 32 more punches. Round 8 he scores 28 more punches. Round 9 he scores 17 more punches. Round 10 he scores 26 more punches. Round 12 he scores 26 more punches. If you just give him those rounds where he dominated it's a 7-5 fight.

Don't think it was a robbery but I think it was a close but clear win for Gonzalez. Imo he was clearly 4 points up at the halfway point and certainly took the 12th, so I'd have to give every other round to the Thai and I don't think he swept the board from rounds 7-11. He won a few (7th and another iirc) but there were a few close ones in there.

Both guys emerged from the fight with credit though. I must watch it again.
