man you people claiming he faked are so stupid its not even funny.... let me clock u on the chin unexpectadely and see how u react, dirrell was crying at the way he got the win , did he fake the tears too ? damn impressive if he did.

wake up to urselves u morons , abraham got schooled for the 1-dimensional fighter he is , got frustrated and resorted to a dog hit, then had the nerve to even suggest there was nothing wrong with it.

i like abraham he seems like a cool character, but that was a brain snap that warranted a dq, anyone suggesting otherwise is just hating

it was a justified dq. but it did seem a little suspect. especially the whole not beleiveing his corner when they said he'd won.

Nah, he looked genuinely knocked out and confused to me.

He was miles ahead on points and everyone knew it at the time, it's not like he needed a DQ or even points deduction to win so he'd have been taking an unnecessary risk pretending to be KO'd in case the ref ruled it a legit punch.

I doubt the doctor would have been fooled and talking about potential bleeding in his brain after the fight either if he'd been pissing around. I'm pretty sure doctors would know the difference between someone acting and genuinely ****ed in these situations.

:deal All what happened after would have to be fake too, and it was not. Abraham has absolutely no excuse and people should talk about what he did instead of bitching Dirrell. Yesterday, Abraham was the *******.

I wanted Abraham to win this fight but I see it as self-evident that he committed an intentional foul and deserved to be disqualified. Dirrel looked genuinely hurt and I hope that this does not have a long-lasting effect on his future career. Knockouts like that tend to weaken a fighter's punch resistance and I fear that Dirrel will be more vulnerable from now on.
I am pissed off with Abraham, he looked like he was starting to hurt Dirrel. He was way behind on points but he had a whole 12th round ahead to try and go for a knockout. Dirrel fought a fantastic fight and I feel sorry for him.

There's no comparison between Soto and Lorenzo and Abraham and Dirrell. Dirrell was clearly down and Abraham was completely aware that he was. That wasn't the case in Soto/Lorenzo where Lorenzo was ducking low anyway and his knee just touched the floor without the rest of him getting any lower - no way for Soto to be aware of it.

DQ was legit, but dude that was class A acting!!...he even managed to look at Abraham in disgust before the film started rolling.

The punch while Dirrell was down remains illegal. How Dirrell reacted to an illegal punch should not even be a topic of discussion, yet it's the main topic right now. A brilliant performance overshadowed by an ugly ending. Sad.

he wasn't faking anything, and if anyone did "fake" it I wouldn't hold it against them as that punch was very calculated and thrown with bad intentions - blatant foul and clear DQ.

Aww all the german ****s are crying about their hero losing. Well guess what. It WAS ILLEGAL PUNCH MOFO'S. It wasn't Abraham's intention to do that but he did. Why would Dirrell fake it anyway? He was miles ahead on points. So go **** yourselves and cry about how you've lost your only hope. that is all.

I agree this was an acting job.

When I saw Dirrell fake it I was like WTF!????

That is the worst acting job ever.

And the ref bought it. Discusting.

BTW: I had Dirrell winning 8-2.
