Was Floyd's performance impressive, or simply expected?

I voted he did well, but expected this performance. Dont give the he wasnt half the fighter he was bs. Mayweather gets full props for beating an elite fighter.

It was good to see him being more aggressive.Dont like the bloke and never will but it was an impressive show.Mosley is a good fighter and he was made to look a bit daft at times.

He's viewed by many as the ##1 welterweight because he beat the man in Margarito who beat Cotto.

not bad, he went toe to toe

Mosley was too tentative about it than I thought he would be. He had to know coming in that he would land 1 shot for every 2 he took, but after the 2nd it looked he rather not land any and just take 1.

I take back my expected vote actually. I thought floyd would be far too cerebral for mosley. But I was watching the fight on a stream and had to switch after round 1 so missed round 2. Just went back and watched round 2 and those 2 shots mosley caught floyd with were sweet. About as clean as you get. I was massively impressed with floyds chin. He took them on the buzzer, cleared his head really quick, changed and used the adrenaline to stomp all over mosley for the rest of the fight. That was impressive.

LMAO this fight reminded me of Pacquiao vs Gay La Hoya. Pacquiao dominated an old guy but the difference is that nobody gave Pacquiao any chance of even surviving the first round.

Whenever a Mayweather-Mosley bout was mentioned my instincts would tell me that Mayweather should win via easy decision or a shutout. I mean Oscar De La Hoya managed to clearly outbox a juiced up Mosley in their rematch on the back foot, logic would have Mayweather easily being able to repeat that without copping much in return to an older Mosley without no PEDs to help him with his strength and stamina.

But as the fight approached, i genuinely thought Mosley had a decent shot and thought it would be closer, even though I've never believed Mosley to have been a great 'boxer', per se. Maybe it was just wishful thinking. Should have listened to my gut.

Great performance by Mayweather though. Showed he is a true warrior, and I never would've expected him to walk Mosley down. Brilliant tactical move to stop Mosley being able to get any extension on the only weapon he had capable of troubling Floyd, that monster right.

I expected it, but it was more impressive than I had previously thought. Mayweather stood his ground most of the fight and even had Shane going backwards at times. Totally unexpected in that respect.

Impressive in the sense that this time he got through adversity, and adjusted perfectly for a whole 10 rounds against a strong and dangerous fighter.
