    vs Canelo.

Abel Sanchez said that GGG was tentative.

I think there are a lot of theories on why...

    1. GGG may be declining, but he throwed 700 punches...
    2. Punches lacked pop, he was throwing at half of his power.
    3. GB asked K2 to go easy on Canelo. 4. There was already an agreement during negotiations.

Likely just 1. He isn't as explosive when throwing any more

    1) GGG was able to throw punches because Canelo was on the back-foot after round 2
    2) GGG punches may have lacked pop, due to his age.
    3) Nope.
    4. Nah. GGG's reaction to the decision showed he never knew the robbery was coming. Plus if everybody agreed to a rematch in this conspiracy of yours wouldn't team GGG like, play down the robbery instead of highlighting it? Doesn't make sense.

It makes laugh, everytime GGG doesn't KO his opponent, the boxing fans makes a big deal pf it. You don't provoke a KO against elite opposition like Canelo or Jacobs!!! GGG fought a hell of a fight but didn't target Canelo's body for some reasons. People should give credit to Canelo for surviving in there since he was already breathing hard from the 4th to the 12th round.

Canelo is just that damn good and made G look tentative and out of sync due to Canelo's high ring IQ and superior skills.

How about his opponent made him tentative.

Stop building GGG up as a super human.

I suspect Golovkin has declined, few fighters at 35 will be in their prime.

But I think it was also down to the fact he was facing someone better than everyone else he has fought to date. I don't think any version of Golovkin would of just steam rolled Canelo. Done better but not blast him out like he has done with so many others.

It's very simple. Canelo is a tank, a tough and skilled mofo.

I think Golovkin has clearly lost a step since his prime.

BUT Canelo is the real deal, he has great defensive ability and he was on his bicycle for most of the fight. It's hard to really sit down on your punches when the other guy is running the whole time. Also, what many of us suspected beforehand is true: Canelo has a great chin, and it's looking better that it ever has.

Didn't GGG just become father of a daughter? Like during training camp or something? Golden Boy knows what they are doing.

GGG didn't want to talk about it.

Same with Kovalev, just became father.

It's very smart/kind of dirty tactics but completely legal.

*GGG did indeed miss the birth of his daughter during training camp for the biggest fight if his career. That stuff is real.

    Golovkin isn't what he was.

Just imagine if he had gotten Martinez back when and then Canelo 2-3 years ago? Boxing would have had a real star.

None the real reason is that he's stepping up in comp. Anyone can look great fighting the likes of Monroe Jr and Wade.
