They had some good scraps in the early 90s.

Paez was like a mix of Hector Camacho, Naseem Hamed, and Ricardo Mayorga in terms of theatrics, toughness, colorful personality, and a wild style. The guy was entertaining to watch, quick hands, good skills, and a high volume puncher although he seemed to have trouble making weight. I also wouldn't say he was an elite level fighter. He was quite a character though. His ring entrance was quite something, especially the one when he walked into the ring in a wedding dress. A true payaso, which is what he really was and he was proud of it.

He was a character, his own man and a true original. Always looked forward to his fights. Because when the bell rang, after all the theatrics, he was a true warrior.

Troy was something else , youre right if they fought 50 times you wouldn't get a clear winner. One thing Troy said was " If my opponent catches me with a good shot am I ever tempted to kick him in the head." Everyone asks me that, sometime I might give one of them a kick lol

Yeah he was a kickboxing world champ, right.

Had a bit of a condensed pro fight career as he moved quickly because of his martial arts background. You see that with a lot of Thai fighters too.
