From now on they are going to check his handwraps even closer, lets see what results of this, but last saturday, as clean as he was landing, he couldn't KO a knockable guy.
how about this did Margarito wrap his hands in cement?? :yep did his power minish in the Mosely fight?
 Why don't you pull about the 1000 threads regarding that, instead of trolling in here. Calm down dude, this makes for an interesting subject.
A PR news agency was the one that broke the story about the ILLEGAL handwraps Juanma was TRYING to get away with. Analyzing his lackluster performance is what we do at ESB...WTF do you think we talk about in here??!!
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=175660 this thread is about his lack luster performance and his possible future fights yours is just about tearing the guy down have fun ULI :hi:
I think people are overlooking the fact that juanma's punch technique was sloppy and frankly horrendous in the fight. The guy was winging shots from round 1 and surprisingly throwing alot of arms punches. Also why the hell didnt he clinch and spoil throughout the fight. I suspect there was something physically not right about juanma in the fight, possible weight drain.
He wasnt punching correctly, throwing alot of arms punches, winging shots. I dont know what happened to him but i was shocked from round 1 how poor his technique was, almost like he gone from the moment he stepped into the ring.
Is'nt it against the rules to post an entire article here from another site...... .....I dont think its against the rules to post a link......at least I have before and its never been brought to my attention.
UliUli, you lose credibility around here everyday.... .....you quoted Trinidad Sr. as saying that the way he wrapped Tito's hands added punching power. I've never heard Sr. say that. ......and that link you're posting does'nt have a single quote in it from Trinidad Sr. .....the article makes reference to Juan Manuel's trainer objecting to the Newyork Athletic commsion for being forced to re-wrap..... Juan Ma's trainer stated that his fighter wraps his hands similar too Felix Trinidad.......they apply gauze, then tape, and then gauze again. In fact, this trainer said he was there in the room when Felix Triniad got his hands wrapped for his most recent fight with Roy Jones jr.......and that the way he wrapped Juan Ma's hands was the same as Trinidad wrapped them that night vs Jones......"why a double standard?" is what Juan Ma's trainer objected too...."Why do you let one fighter wrap that way and not another?" ......and Uli, Trinidad hit Glass jawed Roy Jones Jr. plenty with his so called illegal handwraps and he could'nt put a dent in him! Uli, just come clean brother, this lying **** just shoots down your credibility. State your opinions, I dont have a problem with that, but if you're going to quote someone, at least quote him accurately.
I just read the article and you're right. He said he wrapped Juanmas hands in a similar manner to how Papa wrapped Trinidad's hand and then he mentioned that he was there for Trinidad's fight with Jones and that if it was ok for Tito it should be for Juanma.
