Just caught up on the Provo fight, John Jr looked alright.

Does anyone believe a warrior like him legitimately threw close to zero punches in the 11th and 12th?

My theory is that he took it so far to make it obvious other forces were at play.

I agree, but Broner is neither fleet of foot nor hand, and his power is middling.

Molina looked like he was paid to spar.

Yes. He looked like he wasn't even trying, ever. Not out of his element, not outboxed, he just never went out of first gear, was just there to take the check

Yes paid off. It was more money than winning as Haymon and his affilates really want to build Broner into some type of star

molina always trails in fights. provodnikov is just very easy to outbox unless you have guilt for getting a nod vs pacquaio

It was one of the most pathetic performances ive ever seen. There had to be some sort of motive behind it.

Most likely, that would explain why every time John would land a meaningful shot that would slightly effect Broner, he'd step back and stop throwing.
