Was Patterson rematching Johansson considered suicide?

    The rematch made Floyd a worse fighter. He finally captured that ferocious spirit for the rematch. Then he nearly killed Ingo and never wanted to have that desire to hurt again.

    Those were the days of the "automatic rematch" if the champion lost.

    Not surprising that Patterson took the fight......plus it was a year later.
