I think SBW did well compared to his last fights...sharp jab when he uses it. As mentioned earlier, needs to keep that head down, slip weave, something after he throws those combos

SBW looked okay for the first 8 rounds.Said to my son before fight started that looking fit and being boxing fit are 2 different things. Botha could walk out of a pub and do 12 rounds as he is fight conditioned and SBW aint.Hopefully SBW learnt you can't rush these things.
My son does BJJ and they have amateur MMA fights in QLD.

Well the way Oz boxing is going with farcial circus fights involving big Sonny.....look out for mma to take over in this country as well........I'll say one thing going for mma.....one champ in one division no catchweights.....hang on are they copying the ol school of boxing.....go figure.

Yeah part of UFC success is 1 organisation running things the way boxing used to be .Will see how long it takes for the uFC to fall apart the way boxing did. UFC has slowly grown on me in part to my son and learning more about grappling etc but still waiting for someone to get seriously injured and waiting for boxing to put on decent cards and fighters to step up instead of protecting records.Never liked kickboxing and UFC seems to be the future-still waiting for a good boxer to make some noise in the UFC as I keep tellin the boy a good boxer would kick their arse in the stand up.Maybe the son will prove it-hope not,in UFC anyway.

The very things that made boxing attractive before it got ****ed over are what is contributing to making the UFC popular - one champion per division and good, even matchups on a regular basis.

The UFC is definitely a long way behind boxing. Behind in its own self destruction that is.
