How can there be a true champ if the belts aren't unified? Some say Mosley's the champ because his belt carries the most lineage at the moment but that same belt that's wrapped around his waist was defended by Cotto in his fight with Mosley. Some people say Mayweather is the true champ because he beat the unified champ and retired unbeaten. Some say it's Cotto because he lost to a man that potentially cheated against him. The truth is there's more money in it for Top Rank if Pac fights Cotto over Mosley and that's probably the number one reason why Pac is fighting Cotto; not because Pac is "ducking" Mosley.

I wouldn't give Pac credit for a Mosley fight at 140, but I'd give him credit for a fight at 147. My point is that Mosley called him out, Mosley is better for Pac's legacy, Mosley is athe true WW champ, and Mosley even said he would fight Pac at 140. If Pac wants to fight at WW, he needs to fight the champ, otherwise he is ducking him.
No, cotto is a Title holder. Cotto lost to Margarito who became the true champ, and Margarito lost to Mosley.

He is the true champ because he beat Cotto? Now Margarito got caught with plaster in his gloves and got beat to **** by Mosley. You could see it in Margarito's face something was wrong as soon as he entered the ring and then the commentators annouced the problem. Mosley beat up a criminal who knew he was caught and had to face the music after he got out of the ring. We will never know if Cotto was hit with loaded gloves so I will never give Mr. Magarito his due as far as the former true champ. As far as I see it right now, they are all title holders and Mosley can change that by beating Berto and trying to unify the belts, but then there is Collazo's mandatory.
I'm actually glad Mosely doesn't have to drain himself just to pay off his ex-wife. He has to ask for a raise at Golden Boy Promotions. It was pitiful to watch him offer a drained 140lb version of himself at the age of 37 for a money-fight. Now that Pac and Cotto is official, Mosely and GBP can move on to what they should be doing, getting some welterweights to fight each other. Stop hating, man. Pac has always been friends to those he fought (MAB, EM, JMM and all the other mexican legends you probably root for), except probably Oscar because of a failed partnership. hmmmm..... are you from GBP by any chance?
