I had Solis so far ahead on points that Vitali needed the KO to win the fight.

I was looking for Vitaly to control the fight and was surprised when, even coming forward, his jab was finding mostly gloves and Solis landed a few body shots and the most effective punch being the overhand right. Vitaly was looking surprisingly stiff and slow in reflex, with his technical flaws becoming pronounced enough to be exploited. Solis was moving well, using his hand speed, I thought I was surprisingly in for a good fight. Sad it ended that way, but IMO I saw Solis being the likely winner of the round before the KD after expecting the opposite.

Solis landed a few punches in round one before being wobbled by a punch and going down. Give the guy another ****ing Medal.

What dicklicks. Yes, guys we are so amazed with the performance. Solis almost went on to lose the first round round 10-9 until he was stopped.

Charlie Zelenoff controlled the first minute against Hartley until he quit.

What the **** does it matter if he was winning the round?

He got knocked out and lost the fight. That's all there is to it.

    The biggest loser tonight...Solis.

It was Vitali's round up until the KD, when it became 10-8.

    Weird ****in' fight though.

Exactly. :yep It's a pathetic and transparent attempt to salvage some dignity on Solis' behalf.

To quote Mr. Lewis: Definitely. :nod

Between negotiations and training camp, how much of Klitschko's time was wasted on this weird little farce?

Vitali landed a right hook on Solis' temple causing him to lose his equilibrium and he went down, it's that simple! Solis got injured when he fell! Again, it's that simple! Lewis and the other announcers should be ashamed of themselves for showing their bias! Thanks to EPIX for showing the fight and shame on HBO and Showtime for their bias! Not only a 10-8 round, but a knockout!!!!!!!

Its amazing that people are discussing who was winning a fight that didnt even last full 1 round. It was a feel out round and Solis did ok, not like he was controling the round or hurt Vitali or even landed any significant punches.

What do you expect? There is nothing to discuss in this fight. The fight didn't even last the whole first round. Someone decided instead to scrutinize the only round that we have seen. Just show them some mercy and some understanding. :D

The proof is in the video. Vitali landed a right hook on Solis' temple, Solis' legs turned to rubber and went down. If there was an injury, it was caused by the right hook and Solis going down. It's a plain and simple knockout!!!!!!! The proof is in the video. Solis fans can't get out of it.............
