Was There Outrage When Tyson Bit Holyfield

I didn't watch the first fight live for some reason, I was about 11 I think, I remember being shocked when I saw the result on teletext the next day though, and a bit gutted I think, the ear biting fight I saw live. It was madness, I didn't know what had happened at first, hewas being slated heavily. I kind of vividly remember Tyson saying after the fight about how Evander was butting him etc and 'look at me, my kids are gunna be scared of me', or something like that, or was that some time after the fight? My memory's distorted now.
