Look i base my opinion on how completely limited he is. In his run of loses he has shown me he cannot make adjustments..literally makes the same mistakes over and over as he did against the Dagestany ..squared up and wide open. I really dont need to keep going as we all saw these glaring weaknesses and mistakes. More likely the names you mentioned were simply overrated to begin with. His fundamentals are terrible.

His fundamentals are not terrible. You don't get someone like Paulie Malignaggi come out and say he could be the best Australian fighter ever if the dude can't box! You make some points with which I agree, I think some of his opponents were overrated and he is making the same mistakes during fights. I'm not writing him off, totally. I like his attitude and I still think he could regain a belt. It's going to be difficult but I do have faith in the kid.

Someone terrible wont be beating guys like Brian Mendoza, Terrell Gausha, or Tony Harrison.

But personally, I am writing him off, so to speak. 2024 and 2025 have been brutal years for him, and I am not sure he can mentally recover from this. If he can, then he will be a solid top 10 guy, and pick up a few more good wins.

Paulie said Jake Paul would never beat Silva.

He was a fun fight fighter with some very gleaming flaws that honestly I think if he had a better trainer they could of been ironed out.

I’m of the opinion that most Aussie boxers should move to the states because there is a serious lack of world level trainers here.

When Jeff Horn is mentioned in your "best wins" category.....then you have this answer to this question.

While I appreciate an honest, earnest response, I regrettably think Tszyu is finished at the very highest level.

wait...has he retired? a lot of talking in past tense.

honestly fundora is a challenge for everyone but he seems beatable. Tiny Tim just doesnt have the seasoning to know where and when he is safe or winning certain events in the round. pawing a jab and looking to slug a right hand and hope he catches him with a hook in the exchange is Darnell Wilson tactics. get tight, circle and make the guy keep moving.

either way. its been a mad run. but had he been a....phh...swiss or bolivian or chinese fighter who got his way to the present. you would have to say he was/is just 'rated'. he beat ranked opperators. he had a war with multi world champions. the whole Tszyu II show became hinged on him beating fundora. which was a albatrose that he shouldnt had made his white whale.

It just shows how important management teams and corners are. I personally feel that this is where a lot of very good aussie fighters over the years have not fully realised their potential.

Nobody knows how the 1st Fundora fight would have gone in the absence of the cut. Just stop it!! There have been many fights were the 1st couple of rounds were one sided and the fighter makes adjustments and the tide turns. Don't believe me. Watch PapaTszyu, Judah. Judah had papa knocked around in the 1st. I thought Zab was going to stop him in the 2nd, then bam! Tszyu lowered the boom and the chicken dance was born.

Two completely different scenarios. The most logical view point is that the elbow/cut killed Tszyus momentum and impacted the fight. It's hardly an absurd conclusion.

Tszyu didn’t know what to do once he got cut. He started wading in with zero head movement and getting clipped.
