ppl go on about him as if he was one of the biggest hitters ever.but he hit hagler flush about 15 times in 1 round and hit srl multiple times with no effect.had jackson or benn hit them so many times they would be ktfo.no doubt he had a bit of snap in his punches but he is over rated powerwise

No, he hurt or broke his hand and MMH is one tough Mother****er If anyone could stand up and not flinch to jackson or benn's power it would be MMH (and they would probably break their hands too)

yeah, its just because he was around in the "glory days"

Nowadays he'd probably be just another Pac/PBF opponent.

actually thinking about it he's pretty much Shane Mosley with a bit less speed than Shane had in his prime

Trolls are ****ing **** on this forum nowadays. I remember you at least used to get a giggle out of the opening post, but not any more :-(

We have to put up with this guy, and ****ing slugger...neither are close to being remotely funny (although slugger tries very hard).

Hearns was a welterweight fighting a true middleweight in Hagler!

Hearns would time you with the right and clean your clock.

    KO'd some true granite chins.

Haggler was a Bad Ass blue collar warrior!!!

This probably doesn't even answer your question foes it Troll?!!!

    1. there wasn't "no effect" - he knocked Haggler down and hurt him.

    2. then he broke his hand.

    3. it's stupid to draw conclusions about a decorated fighter from 1 fight only.

Marvin Haggler was an iron chinned beast that's why.

He broke his hand on Haglers Iron head. There was no KOing Hagler. Iron Chin and hard head. No it wasn't overrated. Dumb thread.

Hes clearly talking about the Haggler fight. Not the Hagler fight.
