Did anyone notice what I think was Vitali giving the ref a bit of a punch after the fight and talking to him like he wasn´t happy? Probably because of the stupid point deduction (i could see no headbutt)?

    That was pure bull****.

I was at the bar and I couldn't hear the fight, but when I saw the ref grab him and indicate a 1 point deduction.

I was beside myself and all these ppl started looking at me.

Yea, Vitali did not seem to agree to the point deduction. Is there a replay around?

That **** was accidental if anything and Gomez was the one leading in with his head first.

    Because he lacks class.

Gomez was coming in with his head all night. It was a tactic. The point deduction was ridiculous. Gomez should have had the point deducted. But, it doesn't matter now.

Vitali did look gassed early (was it his mouthpiece, or was he breathing with his mouth open?), and I thought he might have punched himself out after the 7th.

WBC rules mandate.....if there is a clash of heads, whoever its the guy who gets damage from it, IE the cut....the other guy is automatically deducted a point. ever see chavez vs randall II?
thats from vitali and the announcers not knowing the rules...nor the ref making it clear...

I know it's not taking the **** out of Sam Peter when he congratulates you on winning, pushing a referee merely for making a mistake and taking a point, or refusing to accept defeat to Lennox Lewis and parading around the ring after like he'd just knocked him out.

If he did do that he was out of order. I find Klitschko can react like this.
