Was Vitali telegraphing his stategy for Haye?

I think he did that for Barret. That was a hilarious entrance!

I think Vitali will box like he usually does and like he did against Hide(which I think has many similarities with Haye). He´ll use his distance, jab and lean back, maybe loose the first round if Haye is aggresive, when Haye will slow down a little then Vitali will start connecting and sometime his right hand will land and then it's over. Haye might land a few punches, but Vitali has whiskers of adamantium and I don't think Haye can connect with full power because he´ll be hitting from a distance he´s never thrown from before, he won´t be able to get his usual leverage(kinda like how Tua's jumping left hooks just didn't have their normal power against Lennox).

 

Vitali is going to shatter Haye's Glass Jaw. This fight is a mismatch.

 

Vitali was actually aiming for Haye's face, but he was so slow that Haye saw it in Matrix-Vision and used a shoulder roll defense.

 

I don't know if you're reading alot into a shoulder punch (as some have suggested) or not and I haven't seen the video. You could be right especially considering that the strategy you infer from it sounds logical. But as long as we're speculating ; what if Vitali wanted to begin the process of intimidation with his little love-tap as well? Let Haye think about the power behind even a casual, playful little tap from now until fight night. Let it grow in his head over several months. Throw a nice stink-eye from time to time...Remember the deal w/Sam peter and that belt?

 

I remember VITLAY punching Lewis in the shoulder too. Didn't do him much good then either.

 

As I always say, one punch from vitali and Haye is asleep for the night.
