I need to see a bit more of this kid...:yep

17 is okay, but this game is long haul, he will need to do it right and proper if he is going to have any longevity in this game...:yep

Just hope he doesn't become an Amateur Boxer with amazing potential that does not bring it into the paid ranks...:good

Any chatter where he might go if he turns over...:think

Are the Ams on decent bucks in the Podium Squad...:think

If he gets offered decent money after London, he might go for it...:think

Then again,he would only be 22/23 and have some great years in front of him...:good

If Ward beats Egan in a box off for London does that mean we can realistically talk about him potentially winning a medal! F*ck it if he wins a medal then he could be turning pro at 19? Could be a pro at just the right age!!

He's ****in unreal. Though he does lunge over at times when throwing the left but **** that was a composed performence. I dont think he would have won though without the warnings. Also I could see him moving up to heavyweight by 2012.

He fought well but the warnings undone Kenny. He had Ward in his pocket in that second round I thought but let it slip.

Fair play to Ward, he's cool as **** - you wanna see him chilling in the ring while the national anthem was on, like he was just with his pals rather than waiting for his first senior final.

I think Joe was unlucky not to score some more points early on in the fight and deserved to win the contest. There is no point in talking about him going pro anytime soon as 2012 is his only focus now

Totally agree, I thought he did very well in the first round and had 2 or 3 good scoring shots that never scroed.
