I have a question for those that are experienced with watching boxing live at the venue. I've only done that with amateur contests so far. Those are great, but i suppose a whole different thing. Now that interesting top pro heavyweight fights might come to germany, I am considering going there. The thing is I really want to watch the fights. I want to be close like I would be in an amateur contest. I don't want to watch on a big screen, my first priority is not the atmosphere/spectacle but the fights. Now I see people standing up for long stretches of time and if someone did that in front of us (and my girlfriend isn't exactly super tall) that might ruin the experience. And it is way more likely to happen in the most exciting moments. So i'm on the fence about it, if it might be a good or mediocre experience for us. Any insights? How did it work out for you guys? Which seats should one buy to have a good view and how much are they likely to cost?
Sit in the front of the stadium seats if you don't want to be blocked. You'll be higher than the floor seating with no one in front of you. That will give a great view of the action.
