i don't think 2 rounds either way can be called a robbery. i guess the judges were impressed by some of the pitter-patter flurries o'donnell threw in the closer rounds, or may have been unimpressed by watson going for a walkabout every 30 seconds in the later rounds.

Spoiled it, that decision. Good fight, but I had Watson by 3 rounds.

I think pretty much everybody thinks Watson won though, even if it was only by a couple.

If a guy clearly wins, regardless of the margin.... and loses the fight, it is a robbery.

Surely nobody actually thinks Watson lost?

Watson won that, close but clear. Hope he gets a rematch on a Hayemaker show.

Poor decision, watson made the fight, landed the better punches, worked well on the inside and in my view won the fight quite wide. O donnell posed mostly through the early rounds until mcracken told him to up his game. Had a feeling o donnell would get it when it was announced as a spilt decision.

i had o donnell winning that - it was close, but i had o donnell the winner..

it was that close it could hav been easy to be swayed by the commentators and i tried not to liste to them too much...

anyhoo...what an absolute great boxing match.

    Good fight.

    Thought Watson deserved the nod.
