It would have needed Chagaev to come back strong and convincingly defeat Valuev and then Ruiz, Holyfield, Meehan or whatever lousy contenders the WBA would have thrown at him. Now it seems the title picture will be Valuev, Ruiz, Meehan and Holyfield, all of who have very little credibility. Nobody is going to want to watch Ruiz get another shot. Holyfield getting a shot in the first place was a total joke, but the fact Valuev had to get a gift from the judges was an even bigger one. I wonder how diminished the value of this belt can get.
I dont count the WBA HW belt as a title anymore. The winner of Wlad/Haye and Vitali will be the champion.
Chagaev needs to have his license revoked. (For his own health as well as his possible opponents) I understand dude needs to make a living and his illness suck's. But his constant pullout's and postponements are starting to make his situation look real bad. I wish Chagaev the best, But it's time to hang them up.

The WBO is better than the WBA now, a few years back WBogus was a widely held belief, but the WBA makes them look great.
