Let's just hope you stick to your standards and don't give Joshua much credit for destroying Povetkin since according to you, Povetkin never beat any legit tall heavyweights and since Joseph Parker is better than Povetkin. Thus, Joshua should have no difficulties beating Povetkin.

Let's also hope you give Joshua the criticism that he deserves, if he has a tougher / more difficult time against Povetkin, than he did against Parker.

This wins counts for nothing for Joshua! Less than Povetkin beating Price!

If Joshua wins against Povetkin , and then against Wilder , his resume will be on par with Lennox Lewis's.

I rate on skill and talents.. You rate based off one's size because you've been indoctrinated by the HW Blog.

The smaller guys Povetkin beat were better than the bigger guys he beat.

Let's hope Povetkin bounces the back of Joshua's head off the canvas like he did to Price

Fair play to Joshua if this happens. As a champ he has taken the tough fights rather consistently.
I know alot of fans on here go on about the Wilder fight. In the next post they will tell you how titles and an undefeated record doesnt mean a thing and then get all hyped again when you have 2 undefeated records but I think this like Parker is a tougher fight

I want to see blood leaking from Juicesha’s mouth while his roided body is crumpled on the canvas.

Guess we all knew it was only a matter of time before the WBA enforced their mandatory, unless Joshua/Wilder gets made which will trump Joshua's mandatory obligation then Povetkin has to be next.

Either way Povetkin or Wilder, Joshua will have be up against a good and dangerous opponent. Joshua has to be favourite over Povetkin though. Povetkin looks past his best and Joshua did better vs Wlad than Povetkin did.

Would be a pretty outstanding year if Joshua beat Parker, Povetkin and Wilder in 2018, would be a dead cert for fighter of the year.

Lol The splatter that leaked out Prices mouth at the end was like something out of cheap b horror movie.

Look at the expression on Povetkin face before he lands the last shot.

    Absolute animal.

Be an interesting match up. I would love to back Povetkin in this one but I can't forget how Wlad smothered him and pushed him around like a rag doll.

Even against Price he looked too small.

I would see AJ cruise to another decision.

Certainly winnable for Povetkin, I've always thought he can cause AJ issues. When AJ got sparked by Nistor is was by a hook thrown from low exactly like Povetkin does. That low left hand can give a window similar to what Pov had against Price and the body work will be crucial.

Issues being, Povetkin HAS gotten slower and less explosive. It's a good win for AJ if he does win, make no mistake.

Also, no way Matchroom can outbid World of Boxing. That should be interesting

You could argue Joshua should make top 5 on the p4p list if he beats another top 5 ranker.

Nobody is facing top 10 ranked guys like Joshua is. He really should be in there already on the bottom half after the Parker win.. Get #10 Rigo outta there and im pretty sure Spence has only one top 10 ranked win to his name against Brook.
Hell , AJs resume >> Crawfords resume :confundio1::cop::icon_writing:

How on Earth can this be a ‘gruesome mismatch’? this implies that Joshua is going to completely outbox and embarrass povetkin before brutally knocking him out. You genuinely believe anything less than that will expose Joshua as a fraud? Jesus Christ

WBA allow unifications over mandos. So if the weight lighter wanted he could fight Wilder first

    Lebedev-Jones, The Sequel?

Only if it’s held in Russia of course.
