I believe Eddie would rather fight Wilder right now.

Could be a nice trip to Russia if he loses the purse bid the a bunch of wealthy Russians.

I wouldn't be surprised to see AJ drop the belt as long as Eddie can make Povetkin Vs Whyte in Russia, try and win the WBA back so to speak, keep it all in house.

I never got the hype around Povetkin. No way could he ever beat a guy like Joshua or Wilder. He is way too short. This will be Wlad vs Haye all over again. I say Povetkin get sparked out in 5 or 6 rounds.

For crying out loud Povetkin struggled to beat Price. How is he to suppose to beat Joshua? Povetkin is going to take a tremendous beating in this fight.

Povetkin? I swear Joshua always finds a way to get easy fights. Povetkin has no defence at all. Joshua will kill him. Joshua is ducking Wilder just like he did Ortiz.

He still won a world title, got W's over respected contenders hughie and ruiz and smashed dimitrenko to bits.

In other words he had done a lot more than almost anyone else in the division.

hughie isn't respected. not a single credible win. same with ruiz. dimitrenko has been shot for half a decade.

I dunno mate you’d naturally think that but who can forget Povetkin against Wlad?even being rag dolled aside Povetkin was getting seriously knocked back from Wlads jab alone.
I can’t think of another supposed top tier HW looking so inferior almost like it was a nobody in there with Wlad.
Ok Wlad is one of the best esp in his prime but still Povetkin was reduced to just charging forward with his head down.
AJ has much better skills, jab and power than Price

AJ will just copy Wlads tactics, and jab and grab and lean on.

Povetkin is completely neutralised through those tactics.

Povetkin is also 2 years past his prime and this is not a fight anyone is interested in seeing, but you could tell it was an option when they matched him against Price. They will use that highlight reel KO to sell the fight to the casuals.

    Don’t be so silly.

    He’s a legitimate top 3/4/5 heavyweight.

Unless AJ fights Wilder next there is no chance of having an undisputed champion. The WBO and IBF will more than likely have different mandatory's to Povetkin and will pull their titles if AJ fights him. Even if he fought Wilder and we had an undisputed champ it would only last till that winners 1st defense before it became fragmented again. It happens every time.
