The outcome of the Whyte v Povetkin fight is already sorted lads. If Whyte doesn’t (inevitably) starch Pov then the cards are already sorted...and the commentary (within ear shot of the judges) will set about convincing us that Whyte’s in control.

Whyte v Povetkin isn’t PPV worthy. It’s Whyte feeding on the old leftovers from AJ.

 

Looks like Sky sports already knows that Whyte is a pre-defined winner vs Povetkin.

If it comes down to Fury vs Joshua getting held up because of the WBC mandatory being enforced, I'd like to see Fury just ditch the WBC belt. Ok, it would mean Fury vs Joshua isn't for all the belts and wouldn't be for the undisputed heavyweight title, in boxing terms, but it would be undisputed in literal terms, which matters more. Let the WBC and the winner of their vacant title 'dispute' that the winner of Fury vs Joshua isn't THE heavyweight champion of the world. Nobody else would give a fųck.

 

Whyte deserves his mandatory shot. Yeah it may effect AJ v Fury but what's the point of mandatory defences if they are not enforced? Usually I would say yes unification takes priority but not when a fighter has been waiting as long as Whyte has.

 

I do see Whyte winning also, Povetkin at worse drew with hunter and I would say more people think he lost than won. He's now what 41?

If Whyte wins people will say he has the best resume etc of all the others but he's carefully selected the opponent's for the most part.

The only real prime fringe world fighter he has faced was Parker and I would back Parker to win a rematch, especially as we know he was concussed by the headbutt for the majority of the fight.

 

I think Parker is a still a 50/50 he isnt very good either.

 

This happens due to WBC corruption maling sure that the "right" boxers got a shot at the title, instead of the most deserving.
Whyte isn't all that,and he probably doped up, but at this point the move to sue the WBC was warranted

 

As I said in my other thread, it will play out as Johsua v Usyk and Fury v Whyte. There is no way either fighter will take step aside dough and miss out on the chance of a mega unification. Assuming Whyte makes it past Povetkin, which is not a gimme.

 

Best not slip up against Povetkin now....
