Thats not their concern though. Simple as that. They will have viewed the 2 fights in isolation and (hopefully) picked the one they think should be for their vacant title without worrying about the Super 6.

Apart from millions of dollars and the titles when Showtime sues them for walking away. Unless there's some kind of ridiculous loophole which is opened by the semi's & final being brought forward

It could be the fact that they signed a contract that was saying 3 fights in the group stage and showtime modifying that could nullify the contract. Who know for real what's stipulated in those contracts since they didn't even agree on the locations.

Did they make it so Ward-Dirrell and Froch-Abraham are the semis?

Fans can't moan theres too many belts and then say Froch-Abraham should be for the title. Ward-Dirrell is the most deserving of fighting for the vacant belt, so its the right decision. The winner of Froch-AA will have a shot at it in the next fight so theres no problem.

it doesn't really matter unless they are planning on canceling it after these fights. Even then the winner of froch vs abraham should get a shot.

Serious bull**** in my opinion. Yes, Dirrell is the number 1 but Ward isn't even ranked. Froch and Abraham are 2nd and 3rd and Froch only lost the title in a decision that could have gone either way in April.

They've somehow managed to rank Pavlik 4th, which shows you just how **** they are.

The Super Six is becoming more of a joke each day. I've always supported it since day one, but this just stinks. With all the **** we normally have with sanctioning bodies avoiding unifications it just makes no sense.

Froch and Abraham is a fight worthy of a vacant title, and the fact that there will only be titles on one side of the water in the final makes it all the less appealing.

Don't see a problem with this. If Dirrell is ranked #1 then he deserves the shot first.

The winner of Forch - Abs will become the new #1 so even if the tournament fell away they would still be in line for a shot.

Waiting until the final for the titles means Froch/Abraham will pay less in sanctioning fees and still walk away from the tournament with all of the spoils if they're good enough. Seems a decent arrangement for them to me.

Ward-Dirrell is clearly more deserving. Get real.
