Yep, I really don't see any problem. It not about what makes the best final for the Super 6, its about which fight is more deserving of being for the vacant title and (for once) the WBC have got it right. If the made their decision based on wanting the final of the Super 6 to be unification fight and picked the lesser of the 2 fights to be for the vacant title then, from a boxing history point of view of the title, the tail is wagging the dog.
If that's aimed at myself just like to say the headline isn't my own it's the scenes. I just hope Ward beats Dirrell...i don't wanna see him win a world title.
Nothing to do with titles makes any sense at all anyway. Titles mean Zilch. Wba, wbc, vacant, interim, **** all that **** as there can only be one champion, the rest are mere beltholders. He who wins the super six will be crowned king, the rest does not matter one bit. This does not affect the super six in any way shape or form.
It's fair enough I guess, both guys are coming off loses. Is there a risk the winner of Ward/Dirrell might look for a reason to ***** out and leave with the two titles?

I can see the sense in this decision, but it's a **** one for Froch. I thought the WBC would have given him first crack at it as he was the champ, who lost a close decision to Kessler, who then vacates the belt (effectively). I just thought they would have been respectful to Froch and given him first crack at it again although I can see where they're coming from. Either way Froch vs AA is going to be a belter, lack of titles won't make it any less exciting.
